Do you love what you do, or are you simply clocking in for a paycheck? In many ways, Americans have a complicated relationship with work—one that becomes even more evident when comparing different generations. For many, work is just a means to an end.

But Scripture offers a different perspective.

From the very beginning—back in the Garden—human beings were created to work. It was part of God’s good design. Yet somewhere along the way, that purpose got distorted.

This week, as we continue through Colossians chapter 3, we’ll hear the apostle Paul remind us of a powerful truth: work, when done for the Lord, is actually a form of worship.
