We’re kicking off a new teaching series this Sunday through the book of Acts, called Acts: The Story Continues. Written by Luke, the same author of the Gospel of Luke, Acts picks up right where his first book left off. While the Gospel tells the story of Jesus’s life, death, and resurrection, Acts shows how the good news of Jesus spreads from person to person and place to place.

Have you ever been given a task that felt far too big for you? In Acts 1, Jesus leaves his small band of disciples with an overwhelming mission: spread the word about me to the entire world. No doubt they felt unprepared and outmatched. But Jesus also gave them a promise—they would not be alone. He would send the Holy Spirit to empower them every step of the way.
