If you’re interested in becoming part of our church family—or if you simply want to learn more about who we are and what we believe—our Membership Class is the place to start. We’ll gather on Sunday, February 22nd from 4:30–7:30 PM.
Dinner and childcare are provided for those attending in person.
At Mercy Hill, we believe membership is far more meaningful than adding your name to a directory. Scripture shows us that the local church is not merely a place to attend or a group to occasionally participate in. It is the redeemed people of God—the sanctified flock of the Shepherd, the united household of God, the beloved body and bride of Christ. The church is the “manifold wisdom of God” on display for His glory (Ephesians 3:10).
Because of that, membership isn’t about privilege, prestige, or insider access. It isn’t a legal formality or a mechanism for control. Instead, it’s a joyful, intentional response to Jesus’ call to follow Him within a gospel-centered community. It’s a commitment to contribute to the good of the body rather than simply consume from it. Christians are called to commit themselves to one another, and covenant membership is one of the ways we live that out together.
At Mercy Hill, joining our church doesn’t involve rituals or secret steps. Our membership process is simple and relational:
Each step is designed to help you understand the covenant we share and to ensure you’re stepping into membership with clarity, joy, and unity.
