We, at Mercy Hill, have a passion to help people grow as  knowledgable believers in Bible, theology, and spiritual formation. For three Sundays, starting on January 8th, we will have three lecture format classes to engage, instruct, and send you back into your communities and community groups!

Below are the instructors and a short description of each class. When you register you’ll need to chose one of the three classes. Each Sunday we will share a meal together at 5 pm, then dismiss for the lectures starting at 5:45, and finish the night at 7:00. Child care will be provided with activities for all ages. How to Read the Bible Well – Kristen Nichols
Have you ever been confused when reading the Bible? Me too. In this class, I’ll share with you some practical resources to help you interpret and apply God’s word to your life. Together, we’ll practice using these tools through the book of James to better understand God’s word with both our hearts and our minds.

How to Talk About Jesus Without Being Weird
– Jason Keel
This is an evangelism workshop designed to be easily and immediatly applied to our every day life. Each session will focus on: “who is my neighbor?”, a new approach to evangelism, and training on several evangelism tools.

Understanding God’s Story  – Chase Robertson
The Bible is a big place, and my goal is to provide a few handles to grab onto as we plunge into the story of the Bible, especially the Old Testament. Together we will take sweeping passes through all of scripture and support several claims: the God of the Old and New Testament are the same, God should be understood as an author, and the story He wrote is about marriage.
